QT Marshall Already Finished Up With AEW

QT Marshall's time in AEW has come to an end early

It was revealed over the last month that QT Marshall was resigning from his various roles in AEW, finishing up at the end of 2023 before his contract expires on January 1, 2024.

Marshall’s reasons were reportedly due to both the direction that the company was headed, and also due to the fact that he wanted more opportunities in the ring and a chance to achieve more as a wrestler. It looks as though Marshall won’t still be doing his job up until his contract expires, and that he may already be finished up with AEW.

Fightful Select have reported that sources revealed Marshall has not been at any AEW shows recently, not having a presence for some time now. The report notes that he is “effectively already finished up with the company”, and it will likely now just be a case of counting down the days to his contract expiring before looking ahead to new projects and making his next steps in the professional wrestling world. It is also said by Fightful Select that there is interest shown in Marshall already, though it wasn’t made clear who was pursuing him.

Past reports have noted there is an internal push within WWE to sign Marshall.
