Jim Ross Returns On AEW Dynamite

Jim Ross back in the main event of AEW Dynamite

In the lead up to last night’s AEW Dynamite in Oklahoma City, it was announced via AEW’s Control Center that broadcast legend Jim Ross would be making his return to the announce table in AEW.

It has been a couple of months since fans last saw Jim Ross behind the commentary desk in AEW, as it was revealed that he was taking some time away to look after himself and heal up through his battles with skin cancer. His schedule on the road was making an impact on his recovery, so he was advised to take some time to rest by doctors.

With AEW Dynamite taking place in Jim Ross’ home of Oklahoma, though, he didn’t miss the opportunity to come back to have some fun. He called the main event of the evening which saw "Switchblade" Jay White take on Jon Moxley in the Continental Classic Gold League. It isn’t known whether this was just a one-off appearance for Ross since AEW were in Oklahoma, or if this will mean a more regular return to the booth.
