QT Marshall Reveals Discussions With CM Punk Regarding His Spot On AEW Collision

QT Marshall has revealed what happened between himself and CM Punk in AEW

Back during CM Punk’s spell with AEW in which he was the figurehead of the Collision brand, rumours circulated that Punk had taken some control over who was and who wasn’t allowed at the tapings for the show, with one of those being “banned” including QT Marshall. Late last year it was reported that there was no heat between the two men despite this, though there were no details on what exactly had gone down aside from Punk not seeing QTV as beneficial to Collision or Powerhouse Hobbs.

In an interview with Bill Apter for Sportskeeda, QT Marshall opened up about the discussions held between himself and CM Punk, and why he was taken off Collision.

"I always liked him backstage. I know there were reports that he kept me off of TV, and we actually talked about it. We agreed. Neither of us wanted me to be Will Hobbs’ manager. Then I also had to work Saturdays and Wednesdays. So when him and I spoke about the idea that he didn’t want me with Will Hobbs, I was like yeah, let’s sign me up for that one because I’d rather only work on Wednesdays.”

Although there were some reports of CM Punk “damaging” the relationship between Tony Khan and QT Marshall, the latter is now back working in AEW after previously resigning at the end of last year.
