While The Animal had been a part of the SmackDown roster for a few months, under the name Deacon Batista while aligned with Reverend D-Von, it was the switch to Raw and subsequent formation of Evolution that saw Batista turned into one of the company's biggest stars of the 21st century.
And it all started with a quick win over Justin Credible on November 4 2002.
Since then Batista has won World Titles, main-evented WrestleManias, broken into Hollywood and retired from wrestling.
