Raja Jackson - the son of former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson - has cut a plea deal with prosecutors in the criminal case stemming from his attack of Syko Stu at a pro wrestling event in August 2025.

The New York Post has reported that Jackson pleaded no contest to one felony count of battery with serious bodily injury, personal infliction of great bodily injury, and engaging in violent conduct. Jackson issued his plea at a preliminary hearing after reaching the agreement with officials.

Jackson is scheduled to be sentenced in late June. A representative for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office told the New York Post that the anticipated sentence for Jackson is 90 days in jail, restitution of $81,703.38, and two years of formal probation.

Jackson was arrested in September 2025 in relation to his attack of Syko Stu (real name Stuart Smith) at a KnokX Pro Wrestling event on August 23, 2025. Jackson originally pleaded not guilty.

In the attack, which took place inside the ring, Jackson knocked Stu unconscious with a slam and proceeded to punch him 21 times, with Jackson only stopping after he was pulled away from Stu by other wrestlers.

Jackson attacking Stu came about following an incident earlier in the night when Stu hit Raja with a beer can while backstage at the KnokX Pro show after Syko Stu mistakenly believed Jackson was a fellow wrestler. Smith quickly apologised after the incident but Jackson only agreed to shake Stu’s hand after it was agreed the situation would be turned into a pro wrestling angle that would see Jackson interfere in Stu’s match at the event.

Jackson was streaming on Kick throughout the evening, however, and another wrestler in AJ Mana, who invited Jackson to the event, was shown on the stream after the beer can incident encouraging Jackson to “give Stu a receipt”, with Raja noting he would be satisfied as long as he “gets his lick back.”

Jackson became increasingly angry ahead of the scheduled angle to the point that he stated before his planned interference that he was going to hit Syko Stu as hard as he possibly could until he was pulled away.

Following the incident, Syko Stu was hospitalised for one week, and he retired from professional wrestling in October 2025. KnokX Pro were dropped from the WWE ID programme and Rikishi departed the organisation in May 2026.
