Syko Stu was the wrestler attacked by Raja Jackson in an explosive incident that took place on August 23 at a Knokx Pro Wrestling independent event. This incident sparked a storm of headlines and concerns for the safety of Syko Stu, who was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being punched 21 times while being unconscious.
The latest update on Syko Stu’s professional wrestling career is not a positive one. Wrestler Douglas Malo spoke with TMZ, revealing that Stu’s career is “done”.
“His close friend that I talked to that’s throwing this [benefit] event said that Stu’s done with any ring work… And then I also know about some of the stuff that he was dealing with from when I talked to his wife last and his friends, I don’t think being in the ring would work ever again.”
The incident came after an altercation took place between Raja Jackson and Skyo Stu prior to the event, in which Stu allegedly believed Jackson to be a worker due to a camera crew following him around, hitting him with a beer can. This led to Jackson becoming angry at the situation, for which Stu apologised. They agreed that Jackson could do a run-in during Stu’s match later that night, though Jackson was caught on camera stating that he was planning to legitimately hit Stu as hard as he could.
Jackson was arrested in September, though he has now pleaded not guilty to charges of battery.
