Ever since it was revealed that Kevin Owens was ruled out of WrestleMania 41 and for the foreseeable future with a neck injury that required surgery, plans for Randy Orton have been up in the air. Despite teased matches in both SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis and Solo Sikoa, no official opponent has been revealed for Randy Orton as he heads into the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada this weekend.
On last night’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Randy Orton came out to declare that he was not missing WrestleMania, so will hold an open challenge to any wrestler who is in Las Vegas, Nevada over WrestleMania 41 weekend to come and take him on in a match.
Orton’s open challenge will take place on Night Two of WrestleMania 41. There have been several reports and rumours surrounding returning names for WrestleMania weekend, so fans could be in store for a litany of potential surprises for Orton. It remains unknown if Snoop Dogg will answer the challenge as he looks to go 2-0 in WrestleMania matches.
