Randy Orton Segment, Tag Team Triple Threat Added To Monday's WWE Raw
SummerSlam implications aplenty...
After announcing three matches and a segment for next Friday's episode of SmackDown, WWE has added a match and a segment to an already-substantial episode of Raw for this Monday.
WWE announced that Randy Orton will kick off Monday's show by "announcing his next target". Orton already put Big Show out of commission on this past Monday's Raw, after defeating him in an Unsanctioned match.
All indications are that Orton will be challenging for the WWE title at SummerSlam, as reported by Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Also added to the show is a triple threat tag team match, in which the winners will face The Street Profits for Raw's Tag Team titles at SummerSlam. The teams in the match include The Viking Raiders, Andrade and Angel Garza, and Ricochet and Cedric Alexander.
Two championship matches were previously announced for Raw. A WWE title rematch from Extreme Rules is set, with Drew McIntyre defending once more against Dolph Ziggler, with McIntyre choosing the stipulation.
Asuka and Sasha Banks will also meet once more for the Raw Women's title, in a match where the title can change hands, regardless of how it ends.
