Reason Behind Asuka's Absence From WWE Television Reportedly Emerges

Asuka hasn't been seen since WWE Money In The Bank 2021

Asuka has not been seen on WWE television since Money In The Bank last month, and a new report has shed some light regarding her absence from programming.

The Empress Of Tomorrow competed in the Women's Money In The Bank Ladder Match at the pay-per-view on Sunday 18 July but hasn't been seen on Monday Night Raw since, and according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, her absence is simply down to creative having nothing for her to do.

There had been some concerns that the former Raw Women's Champion was injured but Asuka is, per the report, completely fine, and just isn't being utilised while other storylines take precedent on the show.

Nikki A.S.H won the Raw Women's Title from Charlotte Flair the day following Money In The Bank, cashing in her Money In The Bank contract, and Raw has focused on the feud involving those two and Rhea Ripley heading into SummerSlam this weekend.

Eva Marie and Alexa Bliss have also taken the spotlight on the red brand, and will face off at the Allegiant Stadium on Saturday.
