Report: Reason There Were So Many Angles On AEW: Dynamite Revealed

Winter Is Coming was a jam-packed edition of AEW: Dynamite and the show featured numerous angles. While Kenny Omega's world title win and Sting's debut were the most newsworthy events last night, the show also featured a brawl between Britt Baker and Thunder Rosa, more tension within The Inner Circle, and multiple angles in the Dynamite Diamond Battle Royale. The Hybrid2 also attacked The Young Bucks before SCU chased them off.

Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio there were so many angles on Dynamite because AEW believes Winter Is Coming will be the most-watched episode of the year without serious competition. Therefore, they wanted to have as many angles as they could in front of the largest number of people.

Meltzer said: "The idea is that they believe this is going to be the most-watched show of the year, or at least the most-watched unopposed show of the year. And because of that, they wanted to shoot as many angles as they could in front of the most number of eyes."
