Released WWE Talent Backstage At Raw

WWE headed to Houston, Texas for the March 11 episode of Monday Night Raw, with the show emanating from the Toyota Center. 

Fightful Select reported that AJ Francis was backstage at Raw in Houston, Texas. AJ Francis then confirmed he was indeed backstage at the show, tweeting: "Bun B invited me to his show at Rodeo Houston so I pulled up to H-Town today... at the rental car spot a fan told me RAW was in Houston. EVERYONE I saw was excited to see me & that felt good..."

AJ Francis had two runs in WWE, first from January 2020 until he was released in November 2021 after enjoying success as part of Hit Row with Ashante "Thee" Adonis, B-Fab, and Isaiah Swerve Scott (Swerve Strickland). He then spent time on the indies until returning in August 2022, reforming Hit Row with Adonis and B-Fab. Francis was let go for a second time in September 2023. 

The former Top Dolla has since turned up in TNA Wrestling and he is currently feuding with Joe Hendry. The two talents had their first singles match at the post-Sacrifice tapings of TNA IMPACT and the match featured a heel turn for one former IMPACT World Champion.
