Renée Paquette: Vince McMahon Ignored Podcast Invite
“I would love to have any McMahon on the show. Any McMahon is welcome on my show”
Since leaving WWE in 2020, Renée Paquette successfully launched the Oral Sessions podcast and has interviewed a who’s who of the wrestling world. But one guest in particular slipped through Renée’s grasp; WWE CEO Vince McMahon.
Renée revealed on the latest edition of Oral Sessions that she has extended an invite to McMahon, but he didn’t respond to the request.
“No, he did not get back to me,” said Renée “No response but I do have his email. I can get his phone number. I kind of pushed pause on that a little bit because I’ve been busy. We’ve had so many great guests, but I would love to have any McMahon on the show. Any McMahon is welcome on my show.”
Renée still has an idea of how a podcast with Vince would go, adding:
“I guess I would just talk to him about some of the visions that he has for things and just being able to pick his brain. I mean, being able to sit in production meetings with him for a year plus, and getting to just see how his mind works and trying to understand how his mind works, I think I would just have a lot of questions about how he runs the shows. Even from the commentary standpoint about what his vision is for that because good god is that ever a hot seat to be in.”
