Report: 5 Fans Given Refunds For AEW Blood & Guts

Some weren't happy about there only being one live match

All Elite Wrestling hosted a special Blood & Guts edition of Dynamite earlier this week and The Pinnacle and The Inner Circle faced off inside the steel structure.

Ahead of the show, it emerged that only the Blood & Guts match would be live for those in Daily's Place and the other matches on the card like Eddie Kingston & Jon Moxley vs. Kenny Omega & MT Nakazawa were taped in advance and would be shown on the big screen. Those who were not happy with the way the show was presented could receive a refund.

Some fans ultimately took AEW up on that offer after Blood & Guts began and Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer reported that five spectators were given refunds while the episode was being broadcast. Approximately 1,500 people were in attendance at Daily's Place, which was AEW's biggest audience since the COVID-19 pandemic began.

For the fans who stayed, their reactions to the taped matches were piped into the live broadcast and the audience was encouraged to react how they normally would for any other Dynamite. AEW ultimately opted to tape the matches in advance because of how long it would take to set up the cage for Blood & Guts.
