Report: AEW Backstage Reaction To Big Bill & Brian Cage Tag Team Revealed

Brian Cage and Big Bill teamed together in the AEW Blind Eliminator Tournament

The Blind Eliminator Tournament has been one of the featured elements of All Elite Wrestling TV throughout July and the tournament saw talents drawn together at random before they were forced to work together to earn a future shot at the AEW World Tag Team Championships.

The tournament saw wrestlers become unlikely allies, including The Embassy's Brian Cage and Big Bill, who found themselves teaming together. The big-man team defeated Trent Beretta and Matt Sydal in the quarter-finals of the Blind Eliminator Tournament before they were felled by eventual winners MJF and Adam Cole in the semi-finals.

While MJF and Adam Cole were the obvious highlight of the tournament, Brian Cage and Big Bill impressed a lot of people within All Elite Wrestling when they teamed together, Fightful Select has reported. Cage and Big Bill were said to be happy about teaming with one another too.

Brian Cage remains a featured performer in AEW/ROH as one-third of the reigning ROH Six Man Champions with Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona. Big Bill, meanwhile, continues to team with Lee Moriarty across the two Tony Khan-owned promotions.
