Report: Rumour Killer On WWE Money In The Bank Plans For Edge

It seems Edge was never considered for the men's Money in the Bank ladder match.

A recent report by Fightful Select has shot down rumours that Edge was supposed to be involved in WWE's recent Money in the Bank show.

The event took place in London, England on July 1, but Edge was not part of the show. Fightful's report states:

"Edge was not considered for WWE Money in the Bank, contrary to some recent online rumours that he was planned to be there."

Prior to the event, insider Twitter user Better Wrestling Experience listed Edge as one of several names reportedly considered for the men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match - something that Fightful now reports was never the case.

Edge did have a match on the SmackDown after Money in the Bank, defeating Grayson Waller in singles action. At the time of writing, it remains his most recent bout.

The men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match was ultimately won by Damian Priest, who currently still holds the briefcase. Two of the other participants in the match, Logan Paul and Ricochet, are set to do battle at SummerSlam on August 5 in Detroit, Michigan.
