People within All Elite Wrestling are expecting WrestleDream to finish with similar pay-per-view buys to September's All Out show, which would be around 105,000 buys.

That is according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, who said: "From people who I've talked to in AEW, they think it'll end up around what All Out was and All Out was probably about 105,000."

WrestleDream emanated from the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington on Saturday, October 12. The headline match saw Jon Moxley defeat Bryan Danielson for the AEW World Championship, ending Danielson's full-time career in the process. The show also featured a critically acclaimed three-way between Will Ospreay, Konosuke Takeshita, and Ricochet as well as the returns of Adam Cole and MJF.

WrestleDream 2023 is estimated to have finished with 110,000 pay-per-view so 2024's show was down 5,000 buys. WrestleDream was also down from other AEW pay-per-views in 2024 with All In estimated to have drawn between 167,000 and 173,000 buys. Revolution reportedly finished with around 180,000 buys and Forbidden Door was estimated to have 120,000 buys.
