Professional wrestling legend Sting has revealed that he has signed a multi-year deal with AEW.

However, Sting - who officially retired from professional wrestling at AEW Revolution in March - will not be getting back in the ring.

Speaking with Kayfabe Friends, the 65-year-old said:

"I signed a multi-year deal with AEW. Obviously, not to wrestle anymore, it's like a licensing deal, a legends deal if you want to call it that. I'll do appearances with them on and off depending on what they want and all".

During the post-Revolution media scrum, Sting noted that he and Tony Khan had talked about Sting continuing his association with AEW in some fashion. The WWE Hall of Famer ruled out becoming an on-screen manager or backstage agent, however.

Sting did show up at All In to assist former tag partner Darby Allin.

As far as what Steve Borden has been doing since his retirement, he told Kayfabe Friends that he is continuing to work in real estate.

"I've done real estate, I did real estate before I ever was a pro wrestler, so I've always loved real estate. A lot of people say, 'Oh, are you a real estate agent?'. No, I'm not an agent. I'm an investor. I was flipping houses before before flipping houses was a term. So I made money in real estate before wrestling, so I'm doing that again, and I love it," he said.

Sting also noted that, though he will miss performing in front of wrestling crowds, he will never work another match, saying:

"Anyone who would say they would not miss that is a liar. So, of course I'll miss that, but I'm never going to come back to wrestle again. I know that".
