All Elite Wrestling held Grand Slam Australia on February 15 at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Brisbane, Australia in what was the promotion's first-ever show down under.
While the show moved venues from Suncorp Stadium to the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, it still proved to be a success for AEW, with Dave Meltzer reporting on Wrestling Observer Radio that Grand Slam Australia was the third-biggest gate in company history. A final figure is currently unknown but the gate was around $1.3 million two days before the show.
The attendance for Grand Slam Australia is also currently unknown but it is estimated by WrestleTix to have been between 11,000 and 12,000.
The biggest gates in AEW history are the promotion's two All In shows from Wembley Stadium. The 2024 edition of All In had a gate of over $6 million, while the 2023 All In drew a gate of around $10 million. The previous third-biggest gate was AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2023.
Headline matches at AEW Grand Slam Australia included Kenny Omega & Will Ospreay vs. Konosuke Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher, a Street Fight of Cope & Jay White vs. Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli, and Mariah May vs. Toni Storm for the AEW Women's World Title.
