Former WWE Superstar Buddy Murphy is starting to draw a lot of interest from major promotions.
It emerged last week that IMPACT Wrestling was "making a major play" to sign Murphy and now Dave Meltzer has reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that All Elite Wrestling has "at least some interest" in the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion.
Many believe Murphy would be a good fit for AEW and Kenny Omega has previously said it would "be cool to mix it up" with the Australian.
Omega wrote: "Murphy is the type of athlete I enjoy watching. Be cool to mix it up with him. Little known fact is that I almost played COD with him. I think Danny Limelight stole his spot. (Not surprising knowing what I know now about him)."
Omega's comments came after Murphy admitted facing The Best Bout Machine was a dream match of his.
Should AEW move forward with their interest in Murphy, he could end up joining other recent WWE releases Andrade El Idolo and Malakai Black on Dynamite.
