Report: AEW Interested In Signing Mance Warner

An MLW star could be on the move...

Back in January, BodySlam's Cassidy Haynes reported Mance Warner was backstage at AEW: Dynamite as the young promotion was giving the Major League Wrestling talent "a look to maybe bring him in."

All Elite Wrestling's interest died away because of Warner's MLW contract, but Haynes recently reported AEW has renewed their interest in the AAW Heavyweight Champion.

Warner's MLW contract remains a "sticky situation" in any negotiations that may take place, though. Other MLW wrestlers have appeared in AEW, including Brian Pillman Jr., as the language in his contract doesn't stop him from wrestling in Tony Khan's company. If the language prevents Warner from working in AEW is unknown, however, and Mance noted during an interview with the WINCLY podcast that even he doesn't know.

The top indy wrestler said: "Hell, I don't even know. I would have to look at [my contract] and take a look at it. I'm not sure. I would say that that goes to some agent or something, but you know ol' Mancer ain't got no damn agent."
