Report: AEW Planning "Major" Rematch Between Britt Baker & Thunder Rosa

All Elite Wrestling have big plans for the upcoming Britt Baker vs. Thunder Rosa feud. 

It emerged in late August that AEW are planning to revisit the rivalry in early 2022 and further details about the feud emerged in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

According to Dave Meltzer, Rosa and Baker will have a "major match" in the early months of 2022 and AEW want to build the next encounter between the two women to be the "biggest women's match in company history." 

With that in mind, everything from a Hair vs. Hair Match to a Cage Match has been discussed. 

Britt Baker and Thunder Rosa previously feuded for several months from late 2020 until March 2021. Their feud famously culminated in a widely-praised Lights Out Match, with Rosa emerging victorious.

Since that match, Britt Baker has captured the AEW Women's Championship, while Thunder Rosa has signed with AEW after previously working in the promotion through the promotion's working relationship with the National Wrestling Alliance.
