Report: AEW Rampage Spoilers For April 8 Episode

All the action from AEW Rampage for April 8

Following the April 7 edition of AEW: Dynamite from the Agganis Arena in Boston, Massachusetts, AEW taped several matches for the upcoming AEW: Rampage, set to air on April 8.

The show was bookended by the Blackpool Combat Club, after it was confirmed on Dynamite that Bryan Danielson would be taking on Trent Beretta, whilst Jon Moxley would be facing new ROH Pure Champion Wheeler Yuta, as Yuta continues in his quest to gain acceptance from the BCC.

Danielson and Trent put it all on the line in the opener, with Danielson winning after bludgeoning ‘The Best Friend’ and locking in a form of a neck crank. Moxley and Yuta took place in the main event, and despite a bleeding fired up Yuta throwing everything at the former AEW World Champion and even kicking out of a Death Rider before tapping out, Post-match, Yuta finally received that all important handshake from William Regal, and it seems he is the newest member of the Blackpool Combat Club.

Elsewhere, Swerve Strickland got a win over QT Marshall before Ricky Starks challenged Swerve and Keith Lee to a tag match against himself and Powerhouse Hobbs next week. We also got the next name to qualify for the Women’s Owen hart Cup, as Red Velvet overcame the ‘Pretty but Gritty’ Willow Nightingale to confirm her place in the tournament.
