Report: AEW Ranking Among Top Live Sports Events On Max

At the start of 2025, AEW began simulcasting Dynamite & Collision both on television and on the Max streaming service. It was expected that the move to Max would see a decrease in weekly television viewing figures, though these have remained fairly steady and in line with recent ratings thus far. When it comes to how AEW has been performing on Max, there have been few details on the exact numbers that are tuning in.

Fightful Select has provided some update on this front, reporting that although viewership figures are being kept very close to the chest, it can be revealed that AEW has been ranking among the top live sporting events that currently stream on Max. This includes the likes of the NBA, NHL and the women’s basketball Unrivaled league. It is positive news for AEW if they are ranking alongside the likes of the NBA and NHL, though it is noted that it isn’t known if these figures are cumulative or weekly. 

WBD are not known to disclose the viewership numbers on Max, so it is unlikely that fans will hear exact figures, unlike WWE & Netflix reporting the viewership of Monday Night RAW since its debut on the streaming service.
