Report: AEW's Bandido Done With AAA

Bandido has reportedly finished up with AAA

AEW's Bandido has been a regular performer for Mexican promotion AAA over the last year or so, but it now seems as though his time featured in the company may be at an end. Bandido signed with AEW in November of last year after some sporadic appearances, and with him appearing in the company more frequently this year following visa issues, it is no surprise really that he is finishing up elsewhere.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Bandido's match on May 26th teaming with Alberto El Patron and Psycho Clown to take on El Texano Jr, Super Nova & Sam Adonis will be his last associated with AAA for the foreseeable future.

"Bandido looks to be done in AAA. He worked the 6/2 Crash main event in Tijuana and Konnan had said that if he worked that show, AAA couldn’t use him anymore."

Bandido has recently aligned himself with the likes of Orange Cassidy in AEW, though it remains to be seen if this will be a short or long-term alliance.
