Ricky Starks was involved in a scary moment back on the April 21 episode of AEW: Dynamite. Starks went one on one with "Hangman" Adam Page in the opening contest on the show and "Absolute" landed on his neck at one point following a German Suplex.

The Team Taz man was able to finish the match and initial updates after the event, including from Starks himself, noted he was fine. He also wrestled at the following day's Dark tapings in a tag team match with Powerhouse Hobbs against Aaron Frye and Brick Aldridge.

The effects of the German Suplex are worse than first believed, though, according to Voices Of Wrestling and Starks has been diagnosed with a fractured neck.

The former NWA World Television Champion won't need to undergo surgery but he is expected to be on the shelf for three months.

Starks won't be missing from Dynamite and Dark, though, and Voices Of Wrestling noted he is expected to be used on TV while he recovers from the injury.
