Report: AEW's Silence On CM Punk-The Elite Backstage Fight Expected To End Soon

The latest development on the AEW backstage fight is expected to be soon

While it is known that CM Punk and Ace Steel were involved in a backstage fight with Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks following the All Out pay-per-view on September 4, All Elite Wrestling have yet to publicly acknowledge that an altercation took place.

That is seemingly set to change, though, and Wade Keller of PWTorch reported that the silence on the backstage fight is expected to be broken soon.

"I will say I'm expecting the silence to end soon as far as this goes. So keep your ear to the ground, I will say...There should be a breaking of the silence on the issue, I'll put it that way. Probably this week but by early this week but I think most likely this week," Keller said.

The Elite and CM Punk were not even mentioned on AEW TV when Tony Khan stripped them of the AEW World Title and AEW World Trios Titles on last week's episode of Dynamite, with Khan simply saying that he had been forced to vacate the championships.

The Elite, Punk, and Ace Steel are currently suspended in AEW while a third party investigates what happened after All Out.
