Tony Khan has another major announcement up his sleeve and the All Elite Wrestling CEO revealed on this week's episode of Dynamite that fans should stay tuned to TNT next Wednesday night for a huge announcement. This will be followed by "one of the most important announcements ever in the history of AEW" on Dynamite next week.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, the major announcements will be a new TV deal between AEW and Warner Bros. Discovery and the creation of AEW Collision, with the new deal to be revealed during WBD's upfront on May 17 in New York City.

As previously noted, the new deal will give Warner Bros. Discovery exclusivity to AEW programming, which is why Dark and Dark: Elevation were recently scrapped on YouTube.

Rumours online had suggested the new TV deal will be worth $1 billion over a few years. Fightful Select did note it is a "good deal for AEW" but no dollar amount has been revealed.

All Elite Wrestling programming has aired on WBD networks since 2019, when the conglomerate was still WarnerMedia. A four-year extension was agreed in 2020 for $175 million.

Upfronts are held by TV networks to encourage advertiser interest in upcoming programming.
