After several months of absence, both Miro and Thunder Rosa returned to All Elite Wrestling, with the former champions making separate returns on the May 10 edition of AEW Dynamite.

Both wrestlers were shown backstage heading into Tony Khan’s office for meetings during Dynamite’s broadcast, and a report from Fightful Select suggests that both returns are ‘directly linked’ to the upcoming debut of AEW Collision, believed to be taking place in June.

Miro has been absent from AEW TV since September 2022, whilst Thunder Rosa’s future has been the subject of much speculation with the former AEW Women’s World Champion sidelined for the best part of nine months with a back injury.

Whilst yet to be officially announced, Collision is believed to be debuting in June as part of a renewed partnership between AEW and Warner Bros. Discovery. CM Punk is strongly believed to be heading up this new show, with reports of some sort of roster split - whether hard or soft - believed to be taking place to allow more talents TV time, as well as separating wrestlers who may have issues with one another.
