Report: AEW To Possibly Introduce Soft Roster Split
A soft roster split could be introduced to AEW

One of the main complaints levelled at All Elite Wrestling is that its roster is just too large, and a roster split would ensure that more talents get time to shine on AEW TV.
AEW already produces three hours of network TV a week in Dynamite and Rampage, and also produces weekly editions of Dark and Dark: Elevation on YouTube, but there is a perceived drop-off from Dynamite to the other shows.
Recent murmurings have suggested that AEW are set to unleash a third in-ring TV show on Saturday nights as part of their ever-growing partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery, and a report from Fightful Select suggests that the expected announcement of this third show could act as a soft roster split for the company.
The reports alleges that the roster split could be designed to ease tensions in the AEW locker room, especially as news of an impending CM Punk return is making the rounds, with a split allowing certain talents to avoid potential ‘situations’ that could arise from a Punk return or other divisive issues, although the report noted that talent have apparently not been informed of such reasoning.
AEW have already enacted some form of roster split after the re-launch of ROH TV on HonorClub, but with recent ROH TV tapings taking place at AEW Dynamite sessions there is still a cross-over in terms of locker rooms.
