Report: Announced Attendance For AEW All In Was 100% Legitimate

AEW All In's record attendance was legit

All Elite Wrestling held their All In pay-per-view at London's Wembley Stadium on Sunday, August 27 and the show set the paid attendance record for a pro wrestling event, with Nigel McGuinness announcing that 81,035 fans paid to witness All In in person.

This beat AEW's previous attendance high of 20,177 for 2021's AEW Grand Slam show from New York City's Arthur Ashe Stadium. It surpassed the previous paid attendance record of 80,709 at WWE WrestleMania 32, which emanated from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

While there have been some attendance deniers, with several troll accounts in disbelief at the idea of All In surpassing WrestleMania 32, Mike Johnson of PWInsider has reported that 81,035 was the "100% legitimate paid attendance, to the ticket." AEW did not include comps or anyone else in the announcement beyond those who purchased tickets for the event as they wanted the paid attendance to be the number that was announced. WWE also didn't want to inflate the attendance number.

Tony Khan noted at the post-All In press conference that including comp tickets, staff, and hospitality, around 90,000 people were inside Wembley Stadium for All In.

Such was the success, of All In that AEW will return to Wembley Stadium for All In 2024 on Sunday, August 25.
