Report: Another COVID-19 Outbreak Affected WWE Raw

Raw was already short-handed last week

Last night's edition of Monday Night Raw won't live long in the memory and was almost a carbon copy of the Raw after WrestleMania 37. Both shows opened with The Viking Raiders vs. Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander and featured repeat angles like The New Day interrupting Elias and The Miz putting his feet on the rope during his match with Damian Priest. Also, outside of a few names, the group of Superstars used on both episodes of Raw was exactly the same.

WWE was reportedly short-handed for last week's Raw, partly because a couple of Superstars exhibited COVID-19 related symptoms and were kept off the show as a precaution.

COVID-19 looks to have affected last night's show as well. According to Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer, there has been another COVID-19 outbreak within WWE, which is one of the reasons why the two Raw's were so similar. There is no word on how many Superstars have tested positive for coronavirus, though.

This is just the latest COVID-19 outbreak within the company and WWE has had several outbreaks since the pandemic began.
