Report: Why Vince McMahon Doesn't Do More Interviews For WWE

We don't hear from the WWE Chairman very often...

You may have wondered why we don't hear too often from WWE Chairman Vince McMahon in media interviews.

The answer? Well, simply, he doesn't want to.

McMahon does participate in WWE's shareholder conference calls and does occasionally appear on WWE television, but his on-screen and interview time has drastically decreased over the years.

PWInsider reports that WWE fans don't hear from McMahon very often simply because the WWE CEO has no interest in doing interviews or answering questions. The report also noted that McMahon doesn't even particularly like fielding queries during the conference calls he has to participate in.

McMahon appeared on stage at the opening of WrestleMania 37 last weekend in order to welcome the WWE Universe back to the show, but his involvement as an on-screen character has come to a virtually complete standstill.

The 75-year-old was one of 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin's first live guests on his podcast show, on the WWE Network, in 2014, but has not conducted many interviews since then.
