Report: Randy Orton Suffers Shoulder Injury On WWE Raw

Randy Orton went one on one with Riddle on last night's episode of Monday Night Raw following a backstage segment in which the former United States Champion infuriated The Apex Predator. 

The two Superstars fought back and forth in the best match on the show and Riddle surprisingly picked up the win after he reversed an RKO attempt into a crucifix pin for the 1-2-3. 

Along with the loss, Orton also suffered a shoulder injury, according to Wrestling Observer's Bryan Alvarez.

"I don't know the extent of what happened but Randy Orton hurt his shoulder. He was fighting out of the corner and Riddle went to give him an Exploder. And Randy, of course, did not take an Exploder. He blocked it and then he pulled back to do this very dramatic punch and he punched him. And then from that point forward, he could no longer use his right arm. He started throwing forearms with the left arm which looked horrible... He couldn't use that arm and you could see him kind of messing with his shoulder," Alvarez said.

If Orton will have to miss any time is currently unknown. The Viper appeared to be in good spirits after the match, though, and even teased forming the RKBro tag team with Riddle.
