Report: At Least 2 Surprises Planned For IMPACT Wrestling Slammiversary

Who will appear on July 17?

IMPACT Wrestling has at least two surprises planned for their July 17 pay-per-view, Slammiversary, according to Fightful Select.

Multiple new signings debuted or returned to IMPACT at last year's edition of the pay-per-view and the same will be the case this year. One name popping up at the July 17 show will be a recently released WWE Superstar, while another will be a talent already under contract with another promotion. A "reinvigoration" of the Knockouts division is also reportedly in the works for July.

Who will pop up in IMPACT at Slammiversary remains to be seen, but the company has teased multiple names for the pay-per-view, including Daniel Bryan, The IIconics, Wesley Blake, Mickie James, Chelsea Green, The Great Muta, Tetsuya Naito and Kazuchika Okada.

Multiple matches have also already been set for Slammiversary. Kenny Omega will defend the IMPACT World Championship against Sami Callihan, Moose will take on Chris Sabin and Josh Alexander will defend the X-Division Title against five other competitors in an Ultimate X Match.
