Report: Backstage News On Becky Lynch Having Her Mic Cut During WWE Raw

Becky Lynch returned to Raw on this past Monday's episode of Raw, confronting WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus. Stratus has been mocking Lynch on television over the past several weeks while The Man has been out with a minor foot injury. 

Fightful Select noted that Becky's return segment didn't go exactly as planned, as she was cut off prematurely while cutting a promo. After hitting an exploder suplex on Stratus, Lynch said that The Man had come around to kick Trish's ass, before her mic went dead. 

Fightful's report added that it wasn't supposed to be a substantial part of the promo and that, with the Lynch/Stratus programme planned to continue for quite a while, there will be opportunities to revisit it down the line.

Lynch (still in character) filmed a segment for social media which saw her attack the production team member responsible for cutting her off too early.

The former WWE Women's Champion's contract is set to expire this year.
