Report: Backstage News On FTR Vs. Young Bucks II

FTR vs. Young Bucks II is set for the April 6 edition of AEW: Dynamite

ROH Supercard of Honor saw the long awaited dream match between FTR and The Briscoes, with Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler coming out on top and claiming the ROH World Tag Team Championships.

Post-match The Young Bucks stormed the ring to attack The Briscoes, before FTR made the save and threw down the challenge for FTR vs The Young Bucks II, with Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer potentially shedding some light on the backstage plans for the match:

“Even though the AAA Tag Team Titles are at stake, AAA has basically given Tony Khan the call to make. You would think there’s gotta be a plan in place because it’s their belts, but the plan is that Tony Khan can do what he wants.”

The match is scheduled for April 6 on AEW: Dynamite and sees the AAA World Tag Team Championships and the ROH World Tag Team Championships at stake. This is a long-awaited rematch between the two teams since their AEW World Tag Team Championship battle at AEW Full Gear 2020.
