Report: Backstage News On Lacey Evans' WWE Exit

More on Lacey Evans exiting WWE

After seven years with the company, Lacey Evans exited WWE this week, with it emerging that Evans was no longer with WWE and she is done with the organisation.

Evans first teased she was finished with WWE on Instagram, writing: "When the clock strikes 12, you will address me as Macey Estrella from here on out.......oh, and this jacket is up for grabs. Be on the lookout???????????? #ComingSoon #NoMannersMacey #GottaThinkOfSomeOtherCoolHashTag #LordLookAtMe."

In an update, PWInsider reported that Evans was not released by WWE and she is no longer with the company as her contract expired. She has since been moved to the alumni section on WWE.com.

Evans signed with WWE in 2016, heading to the main roster in 2019. She went through a number of gimmick changes, eventually landing on a Marine-esque character as WWE took inspiration from her past in the United States Marine Corps. She hadn't wrestled on WWE TV since late June.
