Top IMPACT Wrestling Star Cleared For In-Ring Return

A top IMPACT star has been cleared to return to the ring

IMPACT Wrestling have received good news, with a top star set to return to in-ring action after being cleared by medical professionals.

After being taken off the road due to injury in early July and subsequently missing Slammiversay 2023, Steve Maclin has now been cleared to compete, with the former IMPACT World Champion taking to Twitter and confirming he is ready to go:

“100% cleared & ready to cause #MayhemForAll. Accepting bookings Sept thru the end of the year! Where do you want to see #MACLIN?”

Since joining IMPACT in 2021 Maclin has been solidly pushed, winning the promotion’s top men’s championship at Rebellion in April by defeating KUSHIDA for the vacant strap. Maclin’s clearance was expected after his wife Deonna Purrazzo told Cultaholic’s Tom Campbell on Desert Island Graps about ‘good news’ from doctors.

It is currently unknown as of the time of writing just when Maclin will step between the ropes again, and it will be interesting to see what’s next for the former NXT star in IMPACT upon his return.
