Report: Backstage News On Tasha Steelz Re-Signing With IMPACT Wrestling
Tasha Steelz re-signed with IMPACT earlier this year
Ahead of her deal expiring, Tasha Steelz put pen to paper on a new contract with IMPACT Wrestling that will keep her with the promotion for the foreseeable future.
Beyond her sticking with IMPACT, little was known about Steelz's new deal but Fightful Select have reported that the former Knockouts World Champion is under contract for multiple years. Her deal was reportedly set to expire in April 2023 but IMPACT wanted to ensure she didn't enter free agency. The promotion have prioritised re-signing talents that received their first national TV exposure in IMPACT.
Several talents have exited IMPACT Wrestling this year, including Eric Young, Chelsea Green, The Good Brothers, W. Morrissey, Tenille Dashwood, The IInspiration, and Mia Yim. This has reportedly "opened up" IMPACT's budget. If they will look to sign or re-sign other talents in the immediate future is currently unknown.
Steelz has been under contract with IMPACT since May 2020. She is a former Knockouts World Champion and Knockouts World Tag Team Champion.
