Report: Backstage News On WWE SmackDown Plans For Bray Wyatt
What will Bray Wyatt be doing on WWE SmackDown?
Oct 21, 2022
Bray Wyatt will make his second appearance on SmackDown since his WWE return at tonight's show from Toledo, Ohio.
Fightful Select reported that as of Thursday afternoon, Bray Wyatt was slated for tonight's SmackDown. Full details of WWE's plans for the former Universal Champion were not revealed but the new Uncle Howdy alter ego of Wyatt and the white mask will be a part of the show. Those plans could change, but an Uncle Howdy appearance was scheduled as of yesterday.
Wyatt had been out of WWE following his release in July of 2021 but he returned to the company at the October 8 Extreme Rules pay-per-view after several weeks of White Rabbit teases. The Eater of Worlds then appeared on the post-Extreme Rules episode of SmackDown, revealing that he had missed the fans in an emotional promo. Uncle Howdy then suddenly appeared at the end of SmackDown, with the show going off the air as Wyatt's new upside-down fly logo appeared on-screen.
Also set for SmackDown tonight are appearances from Logan Paul, and Omos. Liv Morgan will take on Sonya Deville too, while Raquel Rodriguez and Shotzi will challenge Dakota Kai and IYO SKY of Damage CTRL for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships.
