Report: Bayley & Asuka Expected To Make WWE Returns Soon

The pair have been out of action since Summer 2021

With the Royal Rumble out of the way and WrestleMania on the horizon, WWE will be hoping that two of its most prominent women’s division stars will be ready to return and play their part at the ‘Showcase of the Immortal’.

The names in question are those of Bayley and Asuka, with the former Women’s Champions having been on the shelf for the majority of the last 12 months. However, reports from PWInsider suggest both could be gearing up for a WWE return in the near future.

In the case of Asuka, PWInsider believes the ‘Empress of Tomorrow’ should be cleared to return in February, having been out of action with a shoulder injury since July 2021. Bayley too is believed to be targeting a March return, having injured her ACL in Summer 2021 following mandatory training drills.

However one name who is not believed to be returning in the near future is Lacey Evans, who has been out since February 2021. However, Evans has been training at WWE’s Performance Centre following the birth of her child, and whilst no date has been set for her return, she is working towards a TV return.
