Report: Bayley, Asuka In Dallas For WWE WrestleMania Weekend
Bayley and Asuka have reportedly been spotted in Dallas
It’s WrestleMania weekend, and as the biggest weekend of the wrestling calendar we could be in for all manner of surprises, potentially including two major names in WWE’s women’s division.
A report from PWInsider states that both Asuka and Bayley have been spotted in Dallas ahead of this weekend’s two-night WrestleMania 38. This is no guarantee that either performer will make an on-screen appearance, but is surely a good sign as both performers have been rumoured to imminently return to WWE TV.
Asuka has been out of action since Summer 2021, last wrestling at Money in the Bank 2021, whilst Bayley has been on the shelf for the past nine months after reportedly suffering an injury during mandatory WWE training.
The return of either wrestler would be a needed shot in the arm for WWE’s women’s division, with the division in a state of transition for much of the past year. PWInsider’s report interestingly noted that there has been no sign of Alexa Bliss as of yet, with the former WWE Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion wrestling only once since the turn of the year.
