Report: Big Name In Cardiff For WWE Clash At The Castle

WWE Clash at the Castle could feature a big name

Saturday September 3 sees WWE make its long awaited major PPV return to the UK with Clash at the Castle, the biggest WWE show in Britain since SummerSlam 1992.

Some of the biggest names in WWE are expected at the event, and reports suggest that one of the biggest names in boxing could be present too, with GiveMeSport suggesting that Tyson Fury will make his WWE return at the event.

Fury’s return is expected to merely be an appearance, and sources say that ‘The Gypsy King’ ‘certainly won’t be doing anything physically’ at the show, with Fury likely not wanting to risk injury ahead of a potential boxing return in the coming months.

Since Clash at the Castle was announced Fury’s name has been repeatedly linked with the show, with the undefeated heavyweight being long touted for a WWE return, having made several appearances for WWE in 2019 including a match at Crown Jewel against Braun Strowman.

Older fans will recall boxing legend Lennox Lewis accompanying The British Bulldog to his iconic Intercontinental Championship clash with Bret Hart at SummerSlam 92, could Fury do the same for Drew McIntyre against Roman Reigns? We’ll have to wait and see.
