Braun Strowman is dealing with heat in WWE
Nov 11, 2022
Following reports that the WWE locker room might not have taken too kindly to Braun Strowman's recent tweets, it has been confirmed by Fightful Select that The Monster Among Men does indeed have heat within WWE.
Strowman was criticised by several of his colleagues after the Crown Jewel pay-per-view. Those Fightful spoke to noted that Strowman had been on his best behaviour backstage but 'social media Braun' was another story. A member of WWE management also called Strowman's tweets 'immature.'
Another wrestler who will 'never do a flip in their life' also said about Strowman's 'floppy flopper' comments: "We need them, and they need us. Wrestling is everything. There's very little truly right and wrong. He didn't come up in the business doing the things that a lot of those people did, so he probably doesn't understand."
Strowman caused a stir after Crown Jewel when he tweeted: "Holy hell @TheGiantOmos can you believe we got 47 and ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ reminded the people that no one cares about all these floppy floppers. Giants and Monster > flippy flipper bag your grocery's at @kroger #AirportTest #SizeIsThePrize #SwoleIsTheGoal"
He then wrote: "Yo yo all my brothers and sisters in the locker room no matter where you came from. I have mad respect. We have all worked very hard to be where we are. And all are here for a reason. Take a joke iwc. Y'all come at me none stop and the second I fire back y'all melt"
The likes of Mustafa Ali, Will Ospreay, and Chris Jericho all criticised Strowman for his comments.
Fightful further noted that the former Universal Champion's tweets are not part of an angle and they will likely not become a storyline. Braun could eventually be ribbed on TV about his comments, though.
