Report: Bray Wyatt "Excited" About WWE Return

Bray Wyatt has been absent ever since before WrestleMania 39, with his scheduled match with Bobby Lashley getting cancelled at the last minute due to him being off TV for an undisclosed reason. 

With Wyatt still not back in the WWE fold and being left out of the 2023 draft, some updates have been provided on Wyatt’s WWE status, with it looking as though a return is inevitable at some point, rather than there being any bigger issues at hand. Fightful Select have offered an update on his current status.

“Bray Wyatt was overcoming an illness as of WrestleMania weekend, and wasn’t in the creative plans. However, he’s told people close to him he’s excited to make his way back whenever he’s able.”

There is still no timetable on Wyatt’s return to the ring nor any details on what his illness is, though we can hope that he makes a speedy recovery and returns to WWE. The fact that he is “excited” could well be a sign that a return is close, but it is unconfirmed and still up in the air.
