Report: Bray Wyatt Not Medically Cleared For WWE Return

Bray Wyatt reportedly not cleared to make WWE return

We’ve not seen Bray Wyatt in a WWE ring since February, with the former WWE Champion out of action with an undisclosed illness.

Since being ruled out of active competition there have been few reports as to Wyatt’s status, but a new report from Fightful Select says that Wyatt is still not cleared for a return to WWE, although Wyatt is said to be waiting for clearance and is hopeful of a return, whenever that may be.

Before being taken off TV, WWE were positioning Wyatt for a WrestleMania 39 match against Bobby Lashley, with Uncle Howdy and Alexa Bliss set to have been featured in some capacity as well. With Wyatt out of action, Howdy has been kept off of television, whilst Bliss is on maternity leave.

Since returning with the critically lauded White Rabbit vignettes in late 2022, Wyatt has only wrestled once on a WWE broadcast, defeating LA Knight in the roundly panned Pitch Black match at Royal Rumble 2023. Knight and Wyatt would continue to wrestle on WWE house shows after the Rumble, with Wyatt’s last match ending in victory over LA Knight on February 26 2023.
