Report: Bray Wyatt Receives 'Serious Offer' For Pro Wrestling Return

Could Bray Wyatt return to pro wrestling on the indies?

Outside of convention appearances, Bray Wyatt has largely remained away from professional wrestling since his WWE release in July of 2021.

That hasn't stopped parties from being interested in signing Wyatt and Fightful Select reported that the two-time Universal Champion has a standing offer from a startup promotion that was heavily implied to be Freddie Prinze Jr's potential company. The offer was said to be "serious" and the Scooby-Doo star did have big plans for his promotion, having looked to make Karrion Kross the top star before he went back to WWE.

Furthermore, AEW did have "at least some interest" in Wyatt at one point but if both parties ever sat down for talks is unknown. It is known that IMPACT Wrestling were interested in bringing in the former Fiend but that interest was not reciprocated.

Instead, WWE looks to be Wyatt's most likely landing spot as of the time of writing, with it having been noted that a return is more likely following Vince McMahon's resignation and Triple H's installation as Chief Content Officer. Wyatt and McMahon were ultimately not on good terms and the former WWE Chairman had reservations whenever Bray was brought up following his release.
