Report: Bruce Prichard Has Heat With WWE Talent

Superstars aren't happy...

Ever since Paul Heyman was removed from his position as executive director of Monday Night Raw, Bruce Prichard has been the head of both Raw and SmackDown.

PWInsider's Mike Johnson recently reported that some consider Prichard to be the most powerful person in the company who isn't a member of the McMahon family. Everything in WWE creative reportedly goes through the former Brother Love and his word is treated as "very much the gospel" by Vince McMahon. As a result, Prichard has garnered heat with WWE talent and there is "a lot of frustration" amongst Superstars towards the Raw and SmackDown executive director.

Johnson also noted that Prichard did not attend this week's Raw taping. Triple H was at the show, however, and his presence was described as a "breath of fresh air."

Following PWInsider's report, Paul Davis of WrestlingNews.co reported The Game has been a positive presence backstage at recent main roster tapings.

A source told Davis: "Hunter takes time to talk to everyone and calm people down because there is so much paranoia backstage. It's not the same feeling with Bruce."

The paranoia amongst talent reportedly stems from Superstars being frustrated with a lack of TV time. Some fear they could be fired if WWE decides to release more people and many are uneasy about their job status because they are either not being used on TV or have only appeared sporadically.
