Report: Women's Tag Team Championship To Be Defended At WWE TLC 2020
Who will Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler be facing...
The feud between Lana and Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler has been less one-sided over the past couple of weeks since Asuka formed an alliance with The Ravishing Russian. Jax had constantly put Lana through the announce table in the build to Survivor Series, but the Women's Tag Team Champions have been defeated twice by Bobby Lashley's ex-wife in the past couple of weeks.
Asuka and Lana's new friendship was on full display following last night's Raw and Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that the new team will challenge Jax and Baszler for the Women's Tag Team Title at TLC.
Meltzer said: "As of right now, the idea is that the title match will be on the pay-per-view."
Meltzer previously reported The Empress Of Tomorrow and The Ravishing Russian would get a shot at the tag team title in the coming weeks, either on TV or pay-per-view. Sami Zayn and The Street Profits will also reportedly defend their respective titles at TLC or on SmackDown. The Great Liberator is scheduled to face Big E, while Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode will get a shot at the SmackDown Tag Team Championship.
