Charlotte Flair has been out of action ever since suffering a leg injury during an episode of SmackDown in December of last year, and despite early projections that she’d be back by the Summer of 2024, she has still yet to return to the ring.

It was reported recently that she might be back in the mix by November, though Charlotte Flair herself remained coy about a return date, stating that she didn’t want to ruin the surprise.

On WrestleVotes Radio on Backstage Pass, an update was provided on WWE’s plans for Flair, and when they expect her to come back. It is said that WWE has Flair pencilled in for a major match at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas, with it being likely that she’ll be featured near the top of the card on one of the two nights.

After being asked about if Jade Cargill vs. Bianca Belair was possible for WrestleMania, WrestleVotes said:

"Another WrestleMania question, that's a good one. I haven't heard too much...about potential women's matches at WrestleMania. I do know that Charlotte Flair is going to be in the fold and at the top of any women's wrestling card that they present for WrestleMania."

With this outlook, one might assume that Flair will be back in the mix prior to WrestleMania 41 in order to build up a match and feud. Flair’s absence of over 10 months since suffering a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus is now officially her longest time away from a professional wrestling ring since debuting with WWE.
